Pay: $23–$28/hr
Shift Information: Early Morning Shift 2am to 12 noon

General Description 

As a Mobile General Maintenance Technician, you will work independently using a company-provided van to service fleet customers at their location. This role combines hands-on tire service with customer interaction—giving you the opportunity to make a direct impact every day.

You won't be stuck in a shop. Instead, you'll enjoy working on the move, using modern mobile technology, and managing your own daily route while representing the team in the field

Responsibilities Will Include, But Not Be Limited To 

• Performing basic tire services, including mounting, dismounting, and repairs. 
• Delivering outstanding customer service by answering questions, explaining the installation process, while always fully understanding the customer's needs 
• Demonstrating proficient knowledge of our products and services including warranties, promotions, and advertisements 
• Working as part of the Goodyear team with the store network
• Enjoy daily independence on your route, safely driving the van between fleet customer locations, and representing Goodyear 
• Conduct proper safety checks when installing tires 
• Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time, which may include light and heavy lifting, including commercial tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting.   
• Other PM and light maintenance on commercial vehicles as needed.

Basic Qualifications 

• Previous customer service experience is required 
• You must be at least 18 years of age 
• A valid driver's license and safe driving record 
• No relocation is being offered for this position 
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Previous tire installation experience, 1-2 years
• High school diploma/GED

• You enjoy serving fleet customers and can provide top-of-the-line service in any scenario 
• Ability to work independently, following schedules, and enjoy solving problems while also being part of a larger Goodyear team 
• Be a clear communicator with others, making every interaction with customers approachable, simple and informative 
• You enjoy working with technology, including mobile phone applications and van tire changing equipment 
• You are excellent at managing your time, but also flexible knowing your schedule won't always be exactly the same 
• This position requires the ability to read, understand, and follow all procedures and guidelines. 
• Depending on location, our business may be open 7 days a week which can include nights,  overnights, weekends and holidays.
• Willing and able to work in a mobile environment including working outdoors for extended periods of time.
