Dates: August 7th & 12th 8:30 AM -6:00PM

Work Location: 3010 Maine Ave, Lakeland FL 33803  

Starting Pay: $19 Hourly  

Training Location: 1325 Massaro Blvd Tampa FL 33619

Shift: 1st Shift 4am-1230pm M-F (some Saturdays)  

              2nd Shift 1pm-9:30pm M-F (Some Saturdays)

As a member of our retread team, you will play a role in recapping, remolding, or in other words, extending the life of an existing tire to get it back on the road!

About the role: 

In our retread plants you will have the opportunity to support the retread process through various stages:

• Inspect the tires to assess if they can be retread
• Buff the casing to remove any worn tread
• Remove embedded objects, rust, and repair the tire casing
• Using rubber cement or a patch, repair the casing before applying new tread
• Building the tire by applying new tread
• Curing the tire to mold the retread application
• Final Inspection to assess a safe and quality product

Basic Requirements:

• Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.      
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future. 
• Basic Computer Skills     

Preferred Qualifications:      

• High School Diploma or GED preferred    
• Previous experience in manufacturing environment/ General Labor/ Entry Level
